I just got back from the gym, so that's 2 times this week! I work out so much better there than at home. I hope your leg feels better Shanell! Don't let it get you down...you're on the right track and once it feels better you'll get going again. But at the same time, don't do so much that you make it worse! Can you just do arm stuff if your leg is still acting up? Hang in there! --Dana

WOW that's a lot for that amount of time. Congrats. I had my surgery on 11-7-2005. I started at 309 and I'm now 252.5. So that's 56.5 lbs in 3 months. I'm also 5'3". ~ Kim

Hi Carla, All you have to do to stop is run into the wall. It's easy. It's been a long time but it was well worth it! It will all come back to you. I wasn't very good at roller skating, but I could ice skate ok. Roller blading is closer to ice skating. I can't wait to go again. If I can do it then anyone can do. God bless you, Annette

Thank you Tanya. I can't believe I actually did it. I am going to buy a pair of blades this weekend. I can't wait to go again. Having this surgery has given me a different mind set. I figure If I can risk my life to have surgery, then I can risk putting on a pair of skates. I am so glad I did. God bless you, Annette

I went to a BBW dance on Saturday night, and got SO many stares, invitations to dance, compliments, etc. Maybe my confidence is making me glow, or maybe it's just 'cuz I simply look better. But either way, I'm DEFINITELY getting more attention than ever, especially from men. I agree you find what you're looking for when you're NOT looking for it!!! I think it's 'cuz when you're actively searching for a guy, you can tend to look/act desparate, which is a big turn-off for guys. Either that, or when you are looking for one specific kind of person, you may overlook someone great for you who was right there in front of you the whole time. (Kinda like when you search and tear apart the whole house looking for your keys, & they were sitting on the kitchen table all along!)

It will happen often, I have been told by many people. Just concentrate on getting your protein and your fluids in with your exercise and it will start back up again. Good Luck Jennie
