Isn't it too much fun trying on clothes that did not used to fit, and now they are perfect....or even a little big? Good thing I am a born shopper, as I suspect I will be doing a lot of shopping in the next year or so!! Congratulations on your success, and good luck to you as you continue working this tool!! And......stay safe, warm and dry in the snowy DC area!!! *Kam*

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO YOU, TOO, ROBERTA!!! I am doing pretty well, although I do seem to be in a "food rut". I eat basically the same foods everyday. I also eat a lot of cheese, which I'm sure isn't that great for me. However, I was never a big meat eater prior to surgery, so opting for meats has been difficult for me. Since I haven't had a problem when I do eat chicken, I probably should eat more of it. I do usually manage to get in my daily required protein and fluid amounts, so that part is good. I weighed myself at a friend's home on Super Bowl Sunday, and I was down 55 lbs.....yahooooooo!!!! My husband and I will be going to visit hometown friends this coming week-end, and I hope by then, that I have reached the 60 lb. mark (fingers crossed!!). Course, our friends wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a drop of 55 or 60 lbs, but it is something psychological for me!! I have also gone down several sizes, so that is the really good part......well, for the most part, anyways. Last week, my husband and I both removed our coats in the car, and when we got to where we were going, I reached back and put on a coat. My husband said he didn't need one. Anyway, after about 20 minutes, it all of a sudden dawned on me, that "my" black coat didn't come down to my calves the way this coat did.......yup, I was wearing my husband's big ol' coat!!! Of course, it cracked me up!! BUT......so many of my clothes are now swimming on me, that I really never noticed that my husband's coat wasn't mine.....it was just one more big ol' piece of clothing!! From now on, though, I am going to make sure that I wear only MY big clothes and not my husband's!!! Continued good luck to you........ *Kam*

Hi Angela. I have gotten rid of 8 garbage bags full of 26/28 to the goodwill. Now I wished I would have saved them. I have a pair of jeans, black camisole and a pretty dress top left that I can send you if you want them. Just e-mail me and I'll get back to you. Katrina

Hello all, I posted a similar message to this on the 20 something messageboard; I hardly ever ask for help, but i'm in desparate need and thought maybe some of you ladies could help me. I used to wear a 32/34, and now i'm somewhere in the middle of 24-28. I have absolutely nothing to wear - everything I have in my closet looks ridiculous on me. I work in a business office, so I need professional clothes. I go to the gym 5x a week, so I need workout clothes. And of course there's the weekend, so I need jeans, khakis, etc. CAN YOU ???? You girls are doing AMAZING; dropping ridiculous amts of weight, and i'm sure a lot of you are no longer a 26/28. I have tried going to the Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc with no luck. What I can do is send you a PRE-PAID UPS label fixed to a large bag, so all you have to do is throw the clothes in it, and pop it in any UPS drop off location. I'd be forever grateful if you could help me out. Even one pair of jeans would be immensely appreciated. I promise that when they no longer fit me, I will give them to either a person or organization who needs them as much as I did. I have already given away most of my clothes that no longer fit me. Ladies, keep up the great work. And if you can help me with my dilemma, I thank you from the bottom of my heart! You'll be my

Topic: RE: Has anyone tried Fresh Fruits yet??
I am loving sashimi after surgery. ESPECIALLY salmon! I find the tuna to be too "grainy". I had a horrible experience eating miso soup soon after my sushi - i got horribly sick. I had a tiny bit of the sushi rice (I couldn't resist) and with the 7 slices of shashimi i had (fairly large pieces, about 2 or 3 oz total), my tummy was just too full for the soup. So I ed at work. Fun fun. Bethany, miso soup is also a great source of protein!! Just don't eat it after sushi. hehe!
