Hi everyone congrats on your loss we are doing great. My surgery was 11-30 and I have lost 65lbs.

I have heard of people getting shorter because they have lost the fat that was inbetween the vert. of the spine but no one getting taller but anything is possible. Congrats on your weight loss and your new inches either way I think it is great.

I can't wait to join ya! As of this morning, weighed at the doctor's office and I'm 64 pounds down since surgery, 38 to go to onderland, and 88 to my GOAL!!

Changes in blood sugar can affect your eyesight pretty significantly. If you were diabetic pre-op that could be why your eyes are changing so much.
I haven't noticed a change in my vision, but I'm only about 3.5 months post-op.

Hi Jennifer,
My weight caused compression of my spine, which caused me to shrink pre-op. My P.C.P. told me that when I lose the weight I may regain my height. So far I've only gotten shorter. I think I'm losing the fat off the bottoms of my feet, and it's causing me to shrink even more...NNNOOOOO....lol
