Hi Ann B. I had RNY 11/22/05. I am now 6 weeks post op from LBL. You can get lots of great information on the Plastic Surgery Messageboards. I was 15 lbs from my goal when I had my LBL. My PS removed 13.5 lbs of skin from my body. If you would like to see before and after photos they are on my profile. You will swell off and on for some time after the surgery ( I was told it could happen for up to a yr. ). I am NOT sorry that I had the PS. I had to private pay for it too....and it wasn't cheap. But I am very pleased and getting more so every day when the swelling goes down. Good luck to you on your journey. If I can answer any questions for you please don't hesatate to ask. Hello there, I haven't posted here in forever, but was feeling the need to connect. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm re-committing to more exercise and less snacking behavior; I've kind of gotten lazy about both, and I've come too far and had too many good things happen to let it all go now!!! Two years ago, I would have given anything to only have ten or fifteen pounds to lose. I told myself that if it was only a few pounds, I could do what it took to get them off. And I can! Thanks everyone for being here, for being honest about this whole process, and for reminding me how far we've all come together. con grats sally, I had my surgery on nov 15 2005, I went from a tight size 24 down to an 8/10. I like you feel if I don't lose another ounce I will be happy. Most people tell me not to lose anymore. I am only 4'11". I weigh 127-130 I'd like to be 115-120. But I keep going up and down. my own fault probably. I choose sometimes the wrong things to eat. somedays I can eat all the carbs in the world I crave them so much. and other days I can eat nothing. I too need to not make food such an issue for me. anyway this surgery has been the best thing I ever did. I love the new me and hope to keep the weight off forever. Betty
