Topic: so close I can taste it
I recently weighed in at the gym and I realized I am only 24 lbs from Dr goal, 34 lbs from my goal. I can't believe it! Finally I feel successful!
Plus, I am starting to be able to "SEE" myself in the mirror...that is incredible!
Just had to share!

Hang in there Angel. There are some weeks that I lose 6 pounds (its getting rare these days), and there are weeks when I only lose a pound or two. As long as I'm losing I will be ok. I' just don't want to see any gains. I have 47 pounds left to lose.
Take care.
God bless you,
Annette

Hi Carla, How are you? I have lost a total of 183 pound's. I love the way I feel. I can see a big difference when I look at pictures, but when I look in the mirror I still me as morbidly obese. I am told this happens sometimes, and I should put pictures of myself up where I can see them often, soon I will be able to recognise what I really look like. I going to try it. I hope it works.
God bless you,
Annette

Yes, absolutely slow! After double digit losses through 6 months, I'm down to single digits per month. I'm trying to stay positive - it still is a loss and not a zero loss plateau (YET). And they say you still lose inches while the body is rearranging itself during the slow down. I was still hoping for a few more months of 10-12 lb/month. I think now is when exercise becomes more important. I haven't been very consistent in that area. Hopefully that will keep me toward goal - it is close enough now to seem achievable, but still a way to go.

Angel;
Hey surgery sister!
From 5/15-6/15, I lost 6, from 6/15-today, I've lost 4 (3 of which were since Sunday this week). I'm happy the scale is still going down. I know I've been struggling with getting enough water lately, so that's part of my problem.
Stick with the basics though and we will be successful. I've got another 26 lbs. to goal. I know I'll get there in the Lords time.
Blessings,
Jennifer

Yep, I've slowed down some too... I've lost about 7 lbs this time round..... that's really down from the 37 I lost the first month!
But as long as it's still going down, I'm not going to worry! I've upped my water and my exercise, and oddly enough my caloric intake and I really lost the inches this month! So I must still be doing something right!
Oh yeah, I still have about 70 lbs to go until I'm happy....
