Hey everyone I am putting a list together of good snacks to have. Please give me all of your ideas? Also if there are snacks that you have tried adn the pouch rejected or dumped on I need all the advise I can. I have been just eating almonds and protein bars. I would like more ideas please. Hi Amy. I snack on cottage cheese with salsa, dannon lightand fit yogurt, Beef jerkey, and sometimes soy chips. I can't wait to see what everyone else snacks on. I get tired of the same old things. Katrina

IF I snack....I usually eat a Granny Smith Apple or a small bag of popcorn....that's about it for me.....sometimes some grapes maybe.

Dear Amy, I don't snack much--usually just a glass of skim milk between the end of work and dinner time, but I have had pumpkin seeds (1oz. = 110 cal. & 7 protein) or jerky. Both have been good on my stomach but do require a bit of chewing--especially the jerky. Sometimes I'll get a tough piece of jerky and have to spit out the last bit. I use the Power Crunch bar as my breakfast, but that is the only supplement I use. Well, I do have an occasional Profect drink when I am low on protein, but that is rare. Hope this helps, Sally

Everyone should follow their doctors rules when it comes to snacking. I generally don't snack...but sometimes I just can't make it till the next meal and need a little something (or during PMS time). When that happens I try to eat things like soy crisps (deep sea salt is my fav), string cheese (of course), 1/2 of a granny smith apple with some reduced fat peanut butter, small orange (I eat one everyday with my iron...vit C helps with the absorbtion of iron), sunflower seeds, or peanuts. I know I am December but sometimes I like to look "ahead" to see what I can expect. If I need a snack I like the 6 oz. cans of V-8, Stallone Pudding, SF Jello Blox, a Ritz cracker with low fat cream cheese, a couple of strawberries mixed into a tablespoon of Lite Cool Whip, there is also a high protein cinnamon toast pretzel sticks (can't remember the brand name) and the ole stand-by half a banana with peanut butter.

I eat string cheese, Carb and Sugar Control Yogurt and Smoothies, cottage cheese w/tsp of sf jelly, fruit, carrot sticks and cucumbers, SF pudding and jello, deli turkey slices, almonds, and occasionally air popped popcorn. I don't usually do protein bars, they fill me up too fast and I don't like to eat bar leftovers. So far I have been fortunate that not too much bothers my pouch. Even strawberries which initially made me feel like I was going to dump are ok now. Good luck! Christine 257.5/200 (ONEderland tomorrow morning when I weigh, I HOPE!)

Personally I snack on soy crisps, protein bar, meat and cheese rollups(turkey and swiss rolled together), Almonds, and string cheese with salsa. Thank you for everyone that has posted to this. It was so great to hear all the ideas everyone does.

My fav snack is 1/2 an apple, cut up into bite size pieces with 1-2 T. of FF ranch dressing! YUM! I also do mushrooms the same way.
