you are doing fine I had my surgery Nov 2nd have only lost 69lbs. My surgeon says its fine. this is the normal rate of weightloss for us. You are probably losing inches so check your measurements. But inall honesty I understand the frustration but I am looking at the fact that I am healthier than I ever was before surgery. Also look at the OH's BMI chart I think it helps to see there estimated weight loss. Amy 304/236/ praying for 185

Renee; Your post is pretty vague. Depending on your starting weight, your weight loss may be right on target. Why are you scared to death? Are you exercising? Are you keeping a food diary? I've found keeping a food diary helps me when I stall because I can look for trends in what I'm eating when I'm losing. How long have you not been losing weight? Have you tried the Plateau Buster diet? Please give us some more information so we can help you. Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 187 / ???

I am feeling the same way. I have been doing the same thing for the last couple of weeks. I actually went up 2 lbs for a few days. I just keep hanging on and hoping and praying the scale will move again. Tammy 302/232/150

I hear you!! It's so frustrating to be STUCK! I don't think you are doing anything wrong, just try to be patient. I'm down 68 lbs, surgery was on 11/7/05, already experienced a 5 week "stall" and now stuck again. The advice I was given is "drink your water" and "keep up your protein intake" (along with the dreaded "you should exercise more".) Just keep thinking of why we had the surgery, and try to dwell on the positive aspects rather than the negative (Oh Joy, let's exercise more!!)

Renee, I had my surgery on 11/4/05 and have lost 76 pounds....had a slow time on the scales the last 2-3 weeks....but.....I tried on clothes again today and the things I had hung back in my closet that were too small are now too big and I am giving them away....so.....look at the inches instead of the pounds....I sometimes forget that.
