I've done a bad thing...
Jennifer,
Dont sweat the small stuff. A lot of us I am sure can say... I am on XYor Z to help cope... ask yourself this.. does the Med help you? If so... take it. I know I would. I know what works for me and what doesnt. And for me I do what I gotta do.. And remember the bike helps too. Life is not always a picnic. But we can survive.

I don't know if this suggestion will help you but back in November I had to be on a medication and the pill was huge.. my favorite pharmacist loaned me a pill grinder.. I put the pill in there turned the handle and it became like powder. I poured in in my ice tea.. decaf of course and problem was solved.. maybe that will help.
I hope you find a soultion to getting the pill down.. you deserve to be the best you can be and I am totally rooting for you!

I take Lexapro also and they stopped me in the hospital -- it only took me about 3 weeks to discover that I really did need the medicine.
I have found if I eat outmeal and kinda put my half a pill in a small spoonful and chew alittle and swallow it makes it down. This might help you.

ive had a gag reflex for as long as i can remember. i take my pills with food.. literally. i chew up something really well and right before i swallow i tuck the pill in to the wad of food and it all goes down in one swallow. now im able to take pills i never thought id be able to. i take 150mg of effexor daily and those are pretty good sized. good luck, i hope youre able to find a comfortable way to take your meds. =)

I too take Lexapro. Hate to see what i would be like w/o it. They say that hormones are stored in fat and as we lose it we can have emotional days. We talked about this at my support group and it all boiled down to anxiety about the same thing happening again.Facing fears seems to work it out. I have taken pills fine from the get go. Even the vitamin (Centrum) and Calcium are no problem for me. Hope it works out for ya.
