voice change
I am also just now 4 months out and have been terribly hoarse for over 2 months as well.
NO clue what it is. I don't think it's acid reflux. I've been waiting for weeks and the soonest appointment I could get in to see an ENT is for April 6th. Hopefully, I'll know more then.
I have a constant feeling of a very slight amount of phlegm in my throat at all times. Sometimes when I "clear" my throat, it improves my voice, but at other times I go to speak and no sound comes out.
I'm really concerned that something was damaged with me during surgery. My breathing tube was left in far too long.
How did you know it was acid reflux?
I have no other symptoms. Wouldn't I know if it was acid reflux?
Also- I'm wondering if it's tied to throwing up. It gets worse after I yak. And since I haven't thrown up in a while it seems a bit better.
Just trying to think of anything it could be for discussion's sake.
no - this is all day, every day.
Although for some reason it's gotten better lately.
I really wonder if it's tied to whether or not I'm throwing up.
Maybe the person that started this thread can tell us if she's throwing up a lot. My voice gets worse when I do, and since I haven't been as much lately, I'm wondering if that's why I'm improving.
For a while there I was yakking every day.
