Bethany, I had surgery on Nov 29th and was just curious how much sushi you can eat at a time. Sometimes I feel like a piggy when I have sushi. I am loving fruit too. I have tried apples w/no skin, tangerines, strawberries and blueberries. Carla

Hi Carla, I can eat like 10 pieces of sashimi and maybe 2 roll peices the rice really fills me up. I have been buying fresh tuna steaks at my local grocery store and cutting them into thin slices and eating them with wasabi and soy sauce....sooooo good and so much protein!! What kind have you been eating? Do you like Miso Soup? I love it and its got a good source of B12 in it I just found out!!! Bethany

I am loving sashimi after surgery. ESPECIALLY salmon! I find the tuna to be too "grainy". I had a horrible experience eating miso soup soon after my sushi - i got horribly sick. I had a tiny bit of the sushi rice (I couldn't resist) and with the 7 slices of shashimi i had (fairly large pieces, about 2 or 3 oz total), my tummy was just too full for the soup. So I ed at work. Fun fun. Bethany, miso soup is also a great source of protein!! Just don't eat it after sushi. hehe!

All fruit is now my fav food. Watermelon, apples, pineapples, & oranges go down the easiest. I as well eat a lot of sushi. And seafood which I always have hated goes down easy and is very yummy! Christine 314/229/165 Surgery date 11/2/05
