**Goal: Exercise 20 minutes/day, 5x/week** Progress: 1/30 - Elliptical 20 minutes; weight training (upper body) 10 minutes. 1/31 - Elliptical 20 minutes; 2/01 - Break How is everyone doing so far?

Mz Diva.... I have 2 tell ya friend I am sore as heck! But.. no pain no gain. My son says pain is just weakness leaving the body. That made me laugh Today I am going to take it easy with a nice long walk with my husband when he gets home from work. It is excerise and it gives us some much needed one on one time! Check in tommorrow! Kim

diva, 2-2-06 im doing some light cleaning on my house today. (dishes, vacuuming, moving some boxes, take out trash, etc) and i think i might do some exercises later today. but not much on the agenda today. 2-1-06 30 mins circuit room exercising 1-31-06 20 mins exercising 1-30-06 40 mins hard cleaning and exercising so far ive done 4 days and met my goal. yay!! ok im off to start cleaning-- i have a new vacuum im dying to use. ps.... ive upped my protein and made sure im getting the right amount of calories and ive lost 2 lbs in 2 days!!! finally the scale is moving again. lisa -42 lbs -60.5 inches

Hi Ms. Diva. Good challenge. 1/30 - Lap swimming 1 mile in 49 minutes 10 minutes of water aerobics 1/31 - Missed the day due to vicodin for knee and needle under kneecap 2/1 - Lap swimming 1 mile, 3 weight machines with light weights. 2/2 - Does going out doors to get firewood and chopping up kindling count? Hi Didi, Girl, I would count chopping wood as exercise. I bet you feel something in your arms. I wish I knew how to swim, but I'm just not that comfortable in water. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Ok so my planned romantic walk with my husband ended up being a fast past pull along with my golden retrvr.... hubby had to work late and my dog loves being outside so there ya go. Oh well... I am sure I burned more calories being pulled along by him! Kim PS... Didi... heck yeah the wood thing counts... I know when I chopped some wood up a few weeks ago I sweated like crazy and was breathing pretty hard! Way 2 go girl!

My goal: exercise 5 days/week, hopefully 3 @ the gym. My progress: Mon - 1.5 hour walk Tues - break Wed. 45 min walk Thurs - break That means I HAVE to go to the gym tomorrow and over the weekend! I hope I do it...at least I'm still walking when I can't get to the gym, right? Way to go girls, keep up the good work! --Dana

Great job working out, ladies!!! This is my 1st day participating in the challenge, and I hope to hit the gym at least 5x a week. Does anyone in here have Anthem BCBS for insurance?? If so, you can go to www.anthemrewards.com and get PRIZES for doing what you're doing! Just log in your activities every day, your weight every week, and each time you make an entry you get 10 points. You can start picking out your prizes at 250 pts, and they have really nice stuff (pedometer, water bottle, portable radio, alarm clock and more) at that point range, and super fancy stuff like tents, digital cameras, luggage, espresso machines, gym bags etc at the 1850 pt range.
