Throwing up
Casey
I have tried chicken several different ways (chicken salad, baked chicken, grilled chicken) and IF I am able to even get it down it never sits well in my pouch So, I gave up on it for now...I think I will wait for a while before I try it again. The funny thing is I have NO problems with beef. Go figure??? I hope you feel better soon.

Hey yall I am in the same boat! No one mentioned that they threw up so often before I had surg. I think my problem may be a sticture ughh! My nutritionist says that the chicken is harder to digest because its higher in amino acids. That is why we all have a hard time with that and eggs. Hope you all feel better soon
I guess I'm lucky. I have not throwen up at all. I am 8 weeks out and I think I can eat more than I should be able to and I can eat faster than I should be able to. The only food that has disagreed with me so far is real eggs. I can eat a full cup of food in 10 mins. this worrys me. I hope this doesn't mean I will easily re-gain weight.
Thank God I can eat chicken with no problems ... what I can't handle is beef. Hamburger is okay but steak.. Roast ... stuff like that forget about it... if I eat it I will definitely have a date with the toilet throwing up for sure!
You guys are rockin and doing great... I am so proud of all of you

Hi Casey,
I cannot tolerate meat's either, unless tuna is considered "meat". I have been buying veggiepatch meatless meat products. Meatless meatballs, meatless chicken nuggets, meatless sausage etc. although they have no meat, they taste like meat, and are high in protein. The fact that they sit very well in my pouch is a bonus. After trying these meatless meat's I may not ever go back to real meat. Best wishes to you.
God bless you,
Annette
