Exercise?
I was almost completely inactive before surgery, and I now go to the gym 5 times a week. Aqua Aerobics has saved me - I go faithfully 2x a week, and I absolutely love it. It is SO much fun. All the girls (about 12-15 of us) laugh the whole time and none of us are hot bods by any means - most of the ladies in the class are older and/or heavy, so I don't feel uncomfortable at all being in my bathing suit!! Also, 2x a week I use the treadmill (I'm up to 30 minutes at 3 mph at 1.0 incline) and 1x a week I do weights. I feel SO wonderful when I leave the gym, and I'm sure it's helped with my weight loss and energy level. I'm down 40 lbs in 8 weeks (68 total since Sept). Slowly but surely!
