I hate depression

Why oh why does it have to kick up its ugly heels now? I have had so much sickness lately I know that it plays a part of it. I am on a 10 day burst of steriods and I am sure it isn't helping much. I can't sleep and I get really hungry in the evenings. SO I am trying to get protein in at night! Help with the hunger. I am going to get my butt back on track! Today was the first day back at Curves at least! One step back in the right direction! Casey revision Nov 15th, 05 270/235/180

Morning Casey.....I am sorry that you are having such a rough time at the moment. Just remember that "this, too, shall pass". Sleep deprivation is definitely a factor in how you feel. Can you get something from you MD to help you sleep? Also, exercising will help you, so it is really good that you have returned to Curves. In fact, just going outside for a few short walks a day might help, too. Hopefully after you complete those steroids, you will return to your "normal" self.....and maybe you won't be as hungry then. Also, make sure that you get proteins all during the day, so that you don't "poop out" at night. Good luck to you!! *Kam*

Thanks. I hope next week I do feel back to my self! It felt so good just exercising yesterday. I may go again tonight just to do it LOL

Casey I am a couple of weeks ahead of you and I can tell you that it does get better. I also seem to be a target for any germ that comes along too! You are so right about the excercise too. I find for me if I do my treadmill at 5:00p for a few miles it really dampens my hunger. So I work really hard to get in most of my menu before 6:00p unless it is a shake because I just can't be bothered later. You are really doing well girl---dang 35lbs Pam J
