7 weeks out

well I had my revision Nov 15th 2005, it consisted of a hiatial hernia repair, adjustable gastric band removal, then the RNY. Surgery went great. I felt tons better with the repairs alone! On Dec 23rd I had lost 35 pounds and 20.25 inches. Since my surgery I have had 2 hospitalizations. The first Dec 9th for throwing up and dehydration, I had got the stomach virus and my stoma closed to a 2mm! They stretched it to a 15! I felt better right away! I am supposed to have a second scope but my insurance is being blah. Then this last week I ended up in the hospital again here on the base for cellulitis of the foot and then a allergy reaction to the antibotics and stuff they used on my hands to draw blood! I am ready to get back into the game and not have to go to the hospital anymore! I am restarting Curves Monday and try to get my eating undercontrol. I am really lucky that since I had the band for 2 years I chew chew chew! I also struggle with the water and protein but taking it one day at a time! Casey revision 11/15/05 270/235/180ish

Congratulatons Casey! It sounds like you are on your way. Sorry to hear about your hospital stays. We all struggle with getting protein and water.
