My surgery was 11/7. I have lost 37.5lbs. Coming off too slow for me the past week. I've also been battling an infection in the incision where my surgeon put the staple (the one closest to the belly button), so my exercise has been restricted until my 3 mo. check up in Feb. I just got the infection back for the 4th time, 5 days after I stopped the antibiotic. From what I've been reading, think about it - people seem to lose about 100lbs by month 6. I'm ok with that!! I just can't wait to really exercise!!! Good luck - Don't be discouraged. Just follow orders!
My surgery was November 8 and I've lost 36 lbs. I have gone from size 22 jeans to size 18, though. I've always been a slow loser, I mean I'm the only person I knew who had to quit Weigh****chers because I gained so much while I was on it (and following it to a T). Losing 36lbs in less than 2 months is wonderful. I've been stalled for 2 weeks but optimistic that the weight will start dropping again soon.

Hi Paula
Nov 7 surgery, lost 41 lbs as of today; was told I'd be a slow loser because I'm on insulin, but I think 41 is pretty darn good. Have had a few weeks where I lost 0 or 2 which is a bummer but some wise person told me 'who cares if you lose it a little more slowly - who cares if you get to goal at 12 months instead of 9 months, you'll get there. And maybe your skin won't sag as much!'

Well looks like I'm the slow poker of the group! I had surgery Nov. 2 and am down 42lb. I was hoping for more... but in 2 months...42lb, that's great. We couldn't do that with the "traditional" ways of living, after all, that is why we had the surgery in the first place.
I did, however, join a fitness spa today and experienced my first go a****er aerobics... a little more to it than I thought, but after I get the hang of it, I think it will be fun!
We are getting there guys, don't worry! We didn't gain the weight overnight, so we're not going to come off overnight either.
