Stoma Streched yesterday.......

Had my stoma streched yesterday.....and again next week.....feeling much better.......kinda in pain....besides the usual gas pains.......doesnt feel right to call for pain meds...been walking...bu thik thats making it worse.......with christmas coming...maybe I should make the call now ...just in case?????? Seeems like I always wait till a holiday....to have a crisis.....better safe than sorry...been taking ibuprofen...and actemen....Dr recommended...maybe some tylenol 3??????? wooohooooo 290/257/155

I know the Tylenol should help, I still use my Lortab from the surgery when I have aches and pains. If it worsens, make sure you get in to see the doc before the end of tomorrow!

Bean blossom: My understanding is that you should NOT TAKE IBUPROFEN. Tylenol only from now on. Ibuprofen is supposed to be very hard on your pouch... I'm sorry that you're having troubles. If you have any tylenol 3 or loratab left from your surgery, use it. And my surgeon has said over and over that if you're having pain that lasts more, (or increases in intensity) than a couple of hours do not wait CALL! Please be careful. When in doubt--call the surgeon! If only for your own peace of mind. best wishes for a fast recovery.
