70 grams of protein a day?

I found a good way to make sure I get all of my liquids AND protein in. I bought a large insulated Coleman pitcher. Each night, I freeze a quart of pure water in it. In the morning before work, I mix a bottle of zero carb Isopure with a scoop of Nectar powder (55 g protein total--in the eveing I have another 15 grams in a pudding I make) pour it on the ice block and add enough water to make 70 oz. As the ice melts during the day, the drink gets diluted, but I can still taste it, so I know I have to drink the whole thing to get all that protein. Keeps the drink cold at work too without a refridgerator. I pour a pint at a time in a sports bottle. What is working for you?

I put 2 scoops of protein powder in each little baggie, and take them to work with a tall container and stick blender. I blend one up between breakfast and lunch, and the other late in the afternoon. That ensures me ~72 grams of protein each day + whatever food I eat. I make sure I get that much with the "pre-digested whey protein" since all the food protein doesn't get absorbed. At work (and at home) we have a standing Brita watercooler, so I always have cold water and boiling water for tea ready at all times. That helps me tremendously. ~ Kim 309/284/130

Hi Sandi, I buy the pre-mixed isopure in the glass bottles. In my Blender I mix 1/2 cup (4oz's) of isopure with 1 scoop of my premium nutrition whey vantage extreme vanilla (from G.N.C.) It gives me 28 gram's of protein per serving. Since the Protein breaks down after 30 to 45 minutes of mixing it, and we can only absorb 30 gram's every 3 hours, I make this and eat it 3 times a day with at least 3 hours in between each shake. This is thick enough to eat with a spoon yet thin enough to drink. It taste's like yellow cake batter to me. Not the best but I get 84 gram's of protein with 3 -4oz. shakes. I also get 408 calories of the required 700 to 900 calories per day~which is impossible to get just through eating the little bit we can eat. I don't know about anyone else, but I average about 6oz's of food a day not enough to live (healthy) on. I hope this helps. God bless you, Annette
