19 Days post-op and doing fine!!!!!
Hey everybody I am a little over two weeks out and I am doing very good on everything. I almost want to ask my Dr. did he do the right procedure on me. I have lost a total of 35lbs in two weeks, i am getting in about 72oz of water a day, my multi-vitamin, about lots of protein with the (chicken breast, tuna, baked talipia, low-fat cheese cubes, fat free refried beans w/cheese, and my protein smoothies(any whey protein, strawberries, and one medium banana). I walk two miles twice a day and I do 10 minutes with the resistant tube. I am sold out to doing this right, God is so good to me and I'm so thankful.
Dang Lady YOU GO GIRL!!! I know I had to ask my Dr are you sure you did the surgery and not just poked me full of holes!! Then I threw up the first time and said yep she did it. Or realize it was just a SMALL bowl of something and I am full or.. 1/2 a bacon and egg and cheese crosaunt..when before I could have eatten 2.. We really do take our new selves for granted and need to sit back and sing a few praises...

Way to go, girl!! I am about 25 days out and am doing well, too. I am having no problems with meats, so I am working on getting my protein in. I can't do the shakes or protein bars... they are just YUCK to me. I'm always thirsty, so getting my fluids isn't a problem. I haven't started my Walk Away The Pounds tapes yet, but it, as well as a minor exercise regieme are all slated for Dec. 1 as a start date. If my scales are close, I have lost about 40 lbs since surgery! Take care and keep up the good work! Jacki K from PA
HI, San!
I know how you feel, I'm 2 weeks yesterday and have lost 33 lbs. so far. It just makes the head swim, doesn't it??? We all tried so hard for so long to lose weight and now it literally seems to be melting off!
I remember the last time I lost 30 lbs., I had gotten my mind around the dieting thing and was walking every day and eating so healthy and
--BAM!--
I got pregnant with my little girl!!! I was so frustrated at that point b/c it was so difficult to keep my head straight and do my diet faithfully, fighting all those urges and cravings every day and dragging my butt out to walk when I was in pain and had no energy at all! I'd been working at it for--get this--3 MONTHS (!!!) to lost that 30 lbs. and then I go and get pregnant! LOL!!!
And here we are 2 weeks out, 30+ lbs. down, full of energy and no pain at all! It truly is a blessing from God, isn't it? Now if I can just keep from getting pregnant this time...I think I've figured out what causes it...
