Any 11/30 folks out there?

Are you guys ready for this ride?

I'm scared as hell, but I've got my seatbelt on and holding on tight! See you on te losing side.

I am so ready for this ride! My surgery is the 30th also, at 3:00pm. I am getting a little emotional though. Today I started tearing up for hardly no reason at all. But then, this will be a big ride...we start off getting on the ride as kinda scared, unknown area in our lives, then we are off....SHEDDING those aweful pounds...yep, I think I am ready...lets go! I am having the lap band surgery on the 30th........I am nervous that it wont work and maybe i have chosen the wrong procedure...any help? thanks Mary

I am READY! Am occasionally a little too focused, showing my nerves, I guess. However, mostly just busy getting preps done and all the ducks in a row. We will all do great...RIGHT??? (7:30 a.m. - less than 3 days and counting!)

I am buckled in tight and ready to go.... Very apprehensive. But I know that there is a positive side to this whole thing... We willl all be healthy.. Good luck to all of you.. You are all in my prayers...

You can count me in as the Nov 30 groupie as well. I am apprehensive, but I know all will be well during and after the surgery. First and foremost, I want to get my health issues under control, and keep the others away, know what I mean. Then I will focus on the new me!!!! (which will be really exciting). Good luck everyone!

Yes, I'm going today as well, at 11:00 AM. Actually, I have to report to the hospital at 9:30. It couldn't get here any sooner as far as I'm concerned. I'm nervous about being put to sleep since that will be a new experience for me. I'm nervous about the initial six weeks after surgery and getting mentally ready for my new eating habits and changes. And I'm awfully thirsty and craving a HUGE glass of water right about now! Most of all, though, I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to make my life better and healthier. I know it won't be easy, even with the help from lap band. But it will certainly be an improvement from steadily gaining for 28 years despite my efforts to change that. I'm thankful for the others on this site who share their own stories, as they inspire me and everyone else *****ads them. Wishing all my brothers and sisters for any day of the year---whether post-op or pre-op well wishes, speedy recoveries, speedy physician/insurance/family and friends acceptance and support...and love!

I had mine on the 30th. I am 5 days post-op and feeling GREAT! I didn't feel really good until today. I hope all you guys are doing good too. I am so excited for my new life.
