5 Days until surgery

Wow, November people, 5 days. I had about a 2 month wait from when I got a date to the surgery date, and it seems unreal how quickly it went. What did you all do for nerves in the days before surgery? Maureen

Good luck getting through these next few days, Maureen!! It will fly by, I promise!! I had a "pre-surgery to-do" list a mile long, and of course, I never got around to doing everything on it. But, I did keep busy all the way to my surgery date. Guess that is the best advice I could give to you....stay busy, and try not to think about the surgery. And, surround yourself with as many upbeat friends and family members as you can!! I do wish you the best with your upcoming surgery, and please let the board know how you made out. I will have you in my thoughts and prayers. *Kam*

Good Luck and Prayers Maureen, I have the same date!!! I only had 2 weeks notice, so you can imagine my time has flown and trying to get everything done that needs to be done around the house, I have not even started my Holiday shopping yet. Oh well that will have to wait. As far as nerves, I have been cleaning or working, I am very hyper lately. And its getting worse the closer it gets. I have my pre-op testing in the morning. Glad my hubby is taking me, it starting snowing last night and we have about a 45 minute drive. Best wishes to you and hope you have an uneventful surgery!
