75 grms of protein

Here is how I got 75 grms of protein yesterday. I am on a full liquid diet. Just thought I'd share for the other new post-ops. I only make 2oz at a time b/c that is all I can drink per hour, but certainly you could make it in an 8oz serving. I am supposed to drink 2 oz for each waking hour. 2oz skim milk = 2grms protein 1/4 scoop Nectar cappaccino=5 1/2 grms protein 1/4 scoop Chocolate protein = 5 1/2 grms protein Each scoop of protein that I am using has 23 grms of protein. I have been using the matix 5.0 chocolate samples, but isopure choc has 25 grms per scoop too. Also, I have made 2oz skim milk 1/4 scoop bananna protein (also 23 grms a scoop) 1/4 scoop chocolate protein Each of these mini shakes has 13 grms of protein 5 a day =65 grms of protein. Also, I made some chicken broth with 1/2 scoop unflavored unjury for another 10grms of protein. I did make about 1/2 cup chicken broth and ate it out of a bowl with a spoon over about 1 hr time. My doc. counts broth like other clear liquids, so the 2oz rule didn't apply.

Ooohh banana and chocolate combined sounds delicious! I just ordered samples of a banana flavor. I'm definately going to try that. ~ Kim 309/290/130

YUMMM Good hints. I tried Z-Pro 25 powder (by R-Kane) and I love it! Thanks for the hints.
