Had surgery the 14th at St Mary's in Livonia Michigan. The people were so great to me and it went great. I was up and walking and no leaks it was not easy but well worth it. They gave me a pillow to cough with they all signed it . Glad to be home first day not to bad but sleeping in a chair was hard. The next day better and the third day a shower and slept in my own bed. The more you breath cough and walk the better you feel, but with out my healing scriptures I wouldn't be hear. God is the only reason everything went as planned, faith in His promises brought me home. My next checkup the 22 of Nov. Hope all of you do as well or better then me. God bless. There's no place like home! Susan M.

Susan Congradulations on an uneventful surgery. My surgery is scheduled for nov. 29th, and it is very encouraging to read post like yours. Keep up the good work but don't over do yourself. Speedy recovery D

My surgery was also this past Monday, I am so glad that you are doing well. I was in the hoispital for two and half days, nothing serious they just wanted to make sure that everything was working the way they were suppose to. The staff that attenteded to me were GREAT!! I slept well my first night at home , it was great to be home. I have been trying to keep myself busy like walking as much as I can but aso not pushing it. Once again glad that you are at home where you should be and on a road to a speedy recovery.... God Bless....

Susan -- So glad to hear that everything went well for you. Take care of yourself and keep in touch. I had all but given up on surgery and then one day after church, I checked my new insurance and I was shocked that they cover the surgery. I called to make an appointment with the doctor, but knew that I would have to wait several weeks or months to get in. When they called me back to take my info over the phone, they told me they just had a last-minute cancellation for an appointment 1/2 hour later. I grabbed it and it has been smooth sailing so far. I will be relieved when I hear that it has been officially approved, but I feel that it's a God thing and I'm not the one in the driver's seat. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm 54 and looking forward to a much healthier life. Paula
