Leg pain
I have read that it is not uncommon to have some minor nerve problems after anesthesia. It sometimes takes a couple of months to go away. I like the massage idea someone gave. I also think it's really important to keep getting plenty of exercise to improve circulation and speed recovery to the area.
If you develop leg cramps though, call your surgeon right away.
Good luck.
Now that you are home, are you walking a lot? It is VERY important to walk a lot post-op to keep the blood moving. If this continues, call your surgeon. He might prescribe you blood thinners which help prevent blood clots. Even if you are just walking around your home back and forth and such, do it. Walk, walk, walk!! Keep your surgeon informed on this!!!

Hi Kelly,
I am post-op Nov 14 and am experiencing the leg pain in both legs too. Doc said it should get better in a few days. He thinks it may have something to do with the leg straps used in surgery. Mine bothers me whether I sit, stand or walk and affects sleep.
I've used a ho****er bottle and a small hand held massager that seems to help a little.
Hang in there!
