3 more days 18th kids!!
Hi Dee Dee and the rest of the 11/18 babies. I am having a tough time as Friday quickly approaches. My doc. doesn't require pre-op liquids, but I have been trying to do them anyway--not very successfullyythough. I do well until dinner time and then feel compelled to eat dinner. I am eating a relatively sensible dinner though. I hope that everybody does well in these last few pre-op days .

I have to admit, I am getting nervous. Today's death of Jessica O. has me really upset, even though her passing was due to cancer and not due to her WLS. I feel so sorry for her family, especially for her 4 yr. old son. That poor baby!! Also, if you have read my profile, you've seen that I have a form of cancer, too, and that is the primary reason that I am having most of my stomach removed on Friday. So, of course, today's news was especially disturbing for me. But, I am going to try to put negative thoughts out of my mind, and concentrate on the many, many others out there, who had a similar surgery, and who continue to say how glad they are for having it. I hope to be one of those post-ops, as I hope all my other "eighteen-ers" are, too!! And, of course, I can't wait to begin losing weight along with the rest of you!!! Good luck to you this week.....and I have a feeling we'll be in touch again before Friday morning rolls around!!
