My confession: need help!
Hi. I'm Amy and I had my surgery 1 year ago today. I've lost 106lbs so far. I have never been back to my surgeon since I had my staples removed. I have been trying to have my family doctor help me, but he had little knowledge. I have had no idea what vitamins I should be taking. I take two multivitamins and that is it. For quite a while, I didnt even take those. Now I am eating maybe 2 meals a day and eating chocolate the rest of the day. I am scared about what I'm doing to myself. I dont know what to do. I use to be active on the boards--but it has been quite awhile. I finally broke down and made an appointment with Overcash on Monday. I have no idea how he will react. I have bipolar disorder and have been sick for a while now. But I'm getting better. I believe that is what contributes to my behavior. Any advice on what I should be doing or not doing? Thanks. I appreciate your time. Amy
You need to:
1. STOP destructive behavior
2. Seek IMMEDIATE counselling...
3. Go back to your surgeon IMMEDIATELY
4. Make sure to take ALL Your necessary vitamins... Your life, skin, muscles and vital organs are at stake.

OMG Sweetie, You need to be taking care of yourself!!! People that are years out still die for lack of self care!! I take 3 multi vitamins a day. Biotin, B-1 and then B-12 2 x a week.
The chocolate almost killed you before surgery and it can do it now.. There is nothing wrong with cheating once in a while but all day long NOPE!!
FIND support group!! See the Physicolgist, and SEE the nutritionist & surgeon.. I go every 3 months and I am still learning about how I need to take care of me!! The old ideas passed away during surgery... this is a brand new me.
