Home from the hospital, looking for buddies

Hi all, I had my RNY surgery 11/1, and got home from the hospital the afternoon of 11/3. Anybody else home and wanna correspond about how we're doing? I would love to have some pen pal buddies to talk about this with. I missed the monthly support group meeting today because dh had to work and I couldn't drive myself, so I'm just missing the companionship. Ya know. Hope you all are doing well. Chandra

HELLO THERE HOW ARE YOU DOING? I'M ACTUALLY DOING PRETTY GOOD AND I'M REALLY SUPRISED AT HOW WELL I'M DOING...I FEEL A LIL PAIN BUT NOT TOO MUCH JUST THE USUALL POST OP FEELINGS... I'M SOOOO HAPPY CAN'T WAIT TO LOSE WEIGHT AND GET BACK INTO LIFE AND START EATING AGAIN.....YOU KNOW NOT EATING EATING LIKE I USE TO JUST BEING ABLE TO PUT REGULAR FOOD IN MY MOUTH WOULD FEEL SOO GOOD ...WONDER IF ANY ONE CAN ANSWER THAT QUESTION FOR ME HOW LONG TIL WE CAN ACTUALLY EAT SOMETHING AGAIN?????WELL I'LL TALK AT YOU LATER BYE FOR NOW I HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU LATER...JUST THINK THIS WILL PASS AND WE WILL BE UP TO DOING A LOT OF THINGS THAT WE COULDN'T DO IN LIFE.....RIDING ROLLER COASTER RIDES....MAKE IT THROUGH SMALL PLACES ...I COULD GO DOWN THE LIST BUT I'LL BE HERE FOREVER BECAUSE WE BOTH KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT DON'T CHA....WB SOOO AND CONGRATULATIONS TO YA...

I am going in on Tuesday. Hope to be home on Friday and possibly on line Saturday. I bet the board will be busy this month with so many of us off work. Sheila
