I have a date !

I was scheduled for surgery on 12/6 back in early August and the wait time in between has been tough. I received a call yesterday that there was a cancellation on 11/15. I jumped at the chance and will be first out of the gate at 7:30 a.m. I have always had difficulty with the unknown, so I do find myself a bit worried about the procedure. I am truly excited about shedding the excess weight and my intention is to get slim and trim while losing the co-morbities that haunt me today! I look forward to sharing my success with all of you in the coming weeks.

That's great news, Dean. I don't know how you could stand waiting 4 months until your surgery date rolled around. That must've been hard. It would've driven me nuts! Glad you got moved up some. Good luck. Hope everything goes well for you. Gayle

How exciting! You are three days before me. I bet there's a great deal of anticipation mixed with that bit of fear of the unknown. I'm sure you'll do fine.
