Nov. 14th - 9 AM

Well, my original post said I was having surgery at noon on the 7th but my doctor's office called last week and the hospital has reblocked the surgeon's surgery times so now I'm scheduled for the 14th. The best news about that is that now my sister and I will go on the same day (she was originally scheduled for the 21st) and I'll go at 9 and she'll be an hour or so after me. We'd always wanted to do it on the same day but the insurances didn't approve at the same time so the dates got separated. This way, it will be easier on my family....all in one place, just one time. We'll share a room so that will be good too. I have lots more weight to lose than she does but I think it will be a good idea to do this together so we can support each other every steap of the way. So, now, who's out there that's having surgery on the 14th. Oh, BTW, my sister and I are both doing lapband. La Wanda

CONGRATULATIONS on your date......I also have the same date for the lapband my surgery is at 8am. I dont have any siblings but I do have a friend that is using the same surgeon but she willbe out of town at a convention as she is a RD on the day of my surgery. Good Luck La Wanda. I think it is great that you and your sister are doing this together. I am scheduled for Nov. 18, 2005 at 12 noon. I can't wait. My hubby had his surgery on 9/6/05. We couldn't have it at the same time because we have 3 babies (4, 2 1/2, 7 mos) and one of us had to be at full sterngth, but it is really nice to have him going through the same process with me.
