ANESTHESIOLIGIST,!!WHO DONE THEIRS B4 THE BIG DAY????

Stephanie ~ The meeting with the anesthesiologist is to go over your history, particularily any previous surgical procedures. They want to know about medications, any asthma / sleep apnea etc. Yes the surgeon has this info but it's the anesthesiologist that will be putting you out and monitoring you. They have a need to know first hand. It's likely that s/he will also explain what will be happening to you that day. Ask any questions you have - esp if you've never before had surgery.
