surgery scheduled on 11/2

I am not new to this board, have been around a couple of months, but do not post often. I found this message board and thought I would offer my thoughts and prayers for everyone else having surgery in November. I go in on the 2nd. I am still very nervous, but very excited also. Glad you posted Lisa, Welcome to the November board. I am having surgery on Nov. 1st. I am about ready i have a few more things i want to pick up at walmart that the Nurtitionist told me to use after surgery and all i have to do is wait and be nervous. I will keep you in my prayers and hopefully in a couple weeks we will be back on here comparing notes. Good Luck

Lisa!!! We'll be entering the lossing side together. I also am having surgery on the 2nd! We'll have to compare notes and maybe numbers to check on each other in the hospital. ~Angela~

I will be right there with on the 2nd. I am a lot more clam then I thought I would be at this point in time. But I have been trying to keep myself busy with cleaning and trying to get things ready. I have also been getting all my christmas shopping out of the way so I don't have to worry about it. I am sure this time next week my husband will want me on some tranq's because I will be hard to live with. Kathy

Hi Lisa, My surgery is scheduled for the 2nd also. I met another friend named Lisa on Yahoogroups who has the same date. I have complete peace about the actual surgery, the IV is another story! I am now getting a little stressed about eating before, getting sick, having the house in order, and having what I need after. I went to a support group last night, and totally forgot to ask any questions. There was a lady 1 week out who was wondering if the doctor did anything because she felt so good. Julie California
