Hi, everyone! - Fatigue? anyone?
Like a lot of us, I haven't been coming to this forum very often anymore. I just want you all to know though, I couldn't have gone this far without OH.com and especially this forum. Thanks so much -
I wondered if anyone else still has problems with extreme fatigue. I get so tired so quickly. I think I'm getting enough protein and I take vitamins twice a day. I even added iron tabs once a day-thought maybe I was enemic. But nothing seems to help. I haven't been walking much cause I'm so tired. My doctor doesn't think it's anything to worry about, but he's not the one who can't hardly get through the day.
By the way, I started at a highest weight of 288, down now to 163, so a total of 125 lbs lost. I'd like to be below 150 but I'm happy with myself now, and I'm sure I can maintain.
Thanks for all the help, both in the past, and future. Keep up the good work!

Kimberly;
I'm not flaming, but "thinking" you're getting enough protein could be your problem. Start using fitday.com or a similar web site to track your food for a couple weeks. If you're not getting enough protein, that's an easy thing to correct.
Also, when's the last time you had blood work done? Have your PCP or surgeon check your B12 and iron levels. If either is low, that could be part of your problem.
Good luck and please keep us posted.
Blessings,
Jennifer
Hi Kimberly,
I also get extremely tired. How's your Vitamin D? Mine is so low I have to take 50,000 I.U. My Dr. said to take it once a day, my surgeon, nutritionist, and everyone else says to take it once a week. and continue taking caltraite + D three times a day. Also how is your blood sugar levels? I have to check mine a few times a day now. I find when I get the most tired is when my blood sugar has dropped. I'm not saying this is what is wrong with you, but you may want to have it checked out. Take care.
God bless,
Annette
I still have less energy than I thought I would. I admit that I was never high energy to begin with, but I thought with all the weight off that would change. I had plastic surgery at the end of Feb. and thought I'd never get my energy back. But, as much as I hate to say it--because I hate to exercise-I do have more energy when I start the day off with 30 min. of aerobic exercise.
And I personally think the early daylight savings time was horrid for me. I need my burst of spring mornings to get me going.
Best of luck and congratulations on your success. I have 8 more pounds to go to reach my goal by mid May.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted replies. Each of you has helpful suggestions. I'm going to my PCP on Wed for blood work, etc. Hopefully she will find something I can easily fix or take care of. I'll let you all know. Thanks again for all your help and congrat's for your accomplishments and weight loss.
