Betty Honey I have been going up and down 5 pounds for more than a month now...I feel your pain (I go from 197- 202). Get back to basics...that's what I do when the scale goes up...The doc said that I may go up a little before I start going down again at this point. As long as I'm on track with my eating, drinking, exercise, protein, and vitamins...then I try to trust my body to do the right thing. It sure is hard tho Keep focused...and feel free to email me anytime Tanya

It is very scary to regain weight for us obese (formerly) people, but keep in mind that even thin people gain a few pounds now and then. Their weight is never totally stable, but ranges a few pounds up and down over time. What thin people have learned that we have not, is to lose those few extra pounds right away instead of giving in to our cravings and losing control. That is our true mission right niow. You can do it. Good luck.

i too have been struggling and have finally moved the scale again. I ordered the book by Dr Simpson ( I think that's his name) called, "Losing the last 30 pounds", it was written for surgical weight loss patients. I found it very helpful, although alot of common sense is in reality all we all need. I think it was a good explaination of how to go from losing to maintaining. Kind of a fresh approach to a topic that we really know inside and out quite well. It helped me get over the hump to get things moving. Hope that helps! Stephanie

I too have been up and down a few pounds the past 6 months. It does get a little frustrating to not be losing. I'm so close to my goal of losing 200lbs, and these past few months have been hard. But, I just have to remember to cut the carbs out which seems to be my downfall. So, It's back to basics of protein and exercise. Wishing you all the luck. I'm yelling at you to get back on track and do what is right for your mind, body, and soul. PS feel free to yell at me too. As I need it too at times. Hope this helps Terri
