Calorie help!
Another question, Karen...do you use fitday.com?
I do and it shows a pie chart for your %'s of fats, carbs and protiens on a daily basis.
Unfortunatly, I still have WAY too many fat grams!
1000-1200 is what I usually do too, but I'm wondering if that's still too much?
How's ur weight loss progressing? I started at 397...down to about 230 now, but it's going s-l-o-w!
Thanks again, & 's Janet~
Whenever I feel like I'm not making any progress or I get worried about under or over eating I do go back to tracking my food on fitday for a few days until I'm either reassured that I'm still on track or I can pinpoint what the problem is, like too many carbs or too much fat.... at my 6 month check up my nut said I needed to get at least 1000 calories a day..... I generally try to avoid bad carbs and to keep my fat content to about 10 gms a day.....
I started my consult at 356, was 337 on the day of surgery and this morning was at 200.... my own personal goal has been ONEderland and I only need to lose 1 more pound to get there!
Good luck!
Karen
I try to also keep to around 1200 calories a day. I do notice that when I start eating more then my weight loss stalls more. I started at my highest weight at 358lbs, the day of my surgery I was 286lbs and am now at 159lbs. I have 1 more lb to reach my goal of losing 200lbs. I'm so excited to be so close to it, but also frustrated as I have for the past 2-3 months been up and down 1-5lbs and just can't seem to reach my goal. I guess I have been eating too many carbs. So, it's back to basics with eating protein and only healthy carbs.
