MY Surgery 11/15/05...

i am post op 1 year and am down 157..however, i am one of those ones who has ALOT of problems..i had another egd yesterday with dil...this makes my 12th dilatation..have been in & out of the hospital am post op 1 year..and still am not eating solid food..i am just updating everyone here..kathy

I am happy for your wieight loss but sad that your health has not improved. I hope that this new year brings you better luck.

Kathy; Sorry you've had so many problems with strictures. Has your surgeon been able to give you a diagnosis as to how long to expect having dilations? Blessings, Jennifer

Dear Kathy, I had my surgery on the same day, and I must have gotten your share of luck as I haven't had any problems. Do they know why you keep closing up? I don't know that I could handle not eating solid food. The liquid through pureed stages nearly drove me crazy for just those few weeks. Here's to a better year two! Sally
