WOW, I can not believe it has been a year already! I have had some wonderful support here from my OH family, I would like to thank everyone that has come across my path along my journey! You all have been amazing and help me through mu bumps, I appreciate it, more than you could possibly know!
I went to group tonight, Cindy Perry was there, it was nice seeing her again, she is doing awesome, too!
I am officially down 122lbs since day of surgery, I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to have this procedure and hopefully help others on their journeys. I am having some bumps along the way, but I see my surgeon tomorrow at 2p.m and am hoping that he gives me some encouraging news about the hernia repair and also about a plastics referral for having my insurance pay for a panni removal due to medical necessity, hopefully then, this nerve issue that I am having will be under control and then I will truly be on my way! I did have my labs done, everything was good there, although my uric acid level is still high, but I refuse to lower my protein anymore, only if I HAVE to and so far I chose not to. I am losing at a much slower pace now, that too is ok, I have come so far.
Thanks for listening to my rambling, just reflecting on where I was a year ago and where I am now, it is amazing! I wish everyone the best on their journeys, and if a bump comes along I wish you speedy passing! Hugz Dawn
Congrats to all of my surgery brothers and sisters on a journey well done!!!
For the Indiana board:angelette update!
I spoke to Gail tonight, she sounded so much better, I am glad she is home and heading down her journeys path, hopefully her bumps are behind her and her wow moments are on their way!
