Getting ready for our first birthday!

I'm going to celebrate with my family. They have put up with a turmoulous 1st year, and we will be happy when the health rollercoaster is finished. I am wanting to go to red lobster for a couple of crab legs. Oh, and probably buy a new outfit (even though it won't last more than a few months). 6 days to surgaversary Bright Blessings Mindi mhart3.qhealthzone.com Oh, yeah, I'm going away weekend of the 3rd - 5th for a big festival on Orcas Island, so I guess that is one way I'll be celebrating, even if it is a couple of days past my official 1 year mark

Happy "Birthday" to all, it's been quite a year! half the man I used to be, almost at goal, I think my birthday will be a quiet one, and just be thankful to have regained my health. You guys look great, and I hope to post a current pic. soon. Doug 382/189/180

Kim, Happy Birthday WLS sister. I feel exactly like you, it has been a tremendous journey, one with no regrets. I still think it is a dream, and I thank God every single day for allowing me to have this surgery. I still can't believe it is me when I see myself in the mirror. I too will be pinching myself all day long. I plan to have lunch with some friends today and just continue enjoying my new life. Happy Birthday to all my WLS sisters and brothers!!!! Wow we did it guys! One year! I am thinking aboout all of you today.... hope your having the best day ever! Hard to belive that a year ago today I was weighing in at 268 pounds. What a difference a year makes! Have a great birthday everyone! Kim 268/132/134... feels good!

Funny what I am doing for my Birhtday..hehe is sitting here in the hospital family room waiting , as my hubby is in having back surgery ): strange to be here at the same hospital at the same date and time I had my surgery a year ago today (: But I am blessed to be here just the same, I feel so much better xoxoxoxox Gloria

Happy wishes to all!!! Tomorrow is my surgery anniversary. I feel better than I have in years I have lost about 150 pounds, with more to go. I will see my doctor for the annual follow up next week. Thank you all for being here. Take care!!!!! Joyce
