Wow, can't believe it
I can hardly believe it's almost a year since going under.
I've lost 147 lbs to date (well, as of sept 30th).
Gone from size 26-28 stretch clothing to a size 18 jeans and 16 top.
bra size went from a 48DD to a 36D.
panties from a size 14 to a size 8.
and can now fit a regular chair without fear.
can also close the seatbelt in the car, and fit behind the steering wheel without using the tilt to raise it all the way up.
I haven't hit any real plateau yet, but the loss has slowed down.
I've lost my job, which sucked. (they didn't take too kindly to the post op complications).
I can actually walk up the stairs to my apt without having a heart attack.
Guess it is getting better.

Wow surgery sister you are doing awesome, congrats to you.. I havent lost in nearly two months. i need to get kick started. i have lost from 270 to 164 and im stuck.. i feel great and if i never lose another pound i cant complain.
I just cant decide how to celebrate my new birthday... hehe i think i will buy me a new bra..
Good luck to you, I am so proud of you, your doing soo great. Carla
Carla,
thank you for your response. I think alot of how the weight loss thing works is when you have more to lose, you continue to lose for longer. I went from 411bs DOS to 264lbs as of 30 Sept.
I can only pray I can get into the century club. Before surgery, my surgeon told me I would get down to about 220-225lbs and that would be it. I'm 5'6", so it would still be kinda large. I'm planning to beat the odds he stated to me.
As for my re-birthday, well, I'm not sure how I'm going to celebrate, but I do know one thing, at least I'm here and healther than I was almost 1 year ago.
Blessed Be
