Wk 2 Day 4: No Excuse Exercise Challenge

Hi All, GOAL: 1 HOUR Elliptical @ higher intensity & 30 minutes walking, 4 days this week. PROGRESS: Day 1: Elliptical @ higher intensity - 1 hour & Walked 30 minutes Day 2: Walked 30 minutes Day 3: Elliptical @ higher intensity - 1 hour & 10 flights of stairs up & down (The power went out in at my job. So, my co-worker and I decided to take the stairs to the basement to drop off a package. However, we forgot that had to WALK back up. It was a great way to exercise, but I couldn't talk for about 3 minutes afterwards.) Day 4: Elliptical @ higher intensity - 1 hour & Walking 30 minutes Shanell

9 months ago would you have even given 1 flight of stairs and choice? wtg Goal for wk 2 run 3.5 miles mwf Eliptical 30 min higher intensity add bike 30 min and continue on legs t-th do min of 100 situps m-f rest on sat and sun eat less carbs!!!! what i did today Eliptical 40 min rode bike to rec center and around neighboorhood 20 min Did weights and sit ups. I didn't get to swim as planned yesterday--long pseudo-crisis meeting interfered. So I'm talking off early today to make up for it. So I'll be back on track to meet my goal of swimming five times this week. Sunday, Monday, Thursday, and plans for Friday and Saturday. Sally

My goal was 3 days at gym, 2 at Curves. Monday I spent well over an hour on cardio, came home and did some stretching. Tuesday, worked from 7 am - 7:30 pm and must have put 5 miles on my feet in heels (no exaggeration!). Wednesday, took my 8yo granddaughter bowling for 2 hours, then swimming for an hour. Today (Thursday), I am pooped. Don't know if I caught a virus or something, but I left work after 3 hours and have been on the couch ever since. Maybe it's the heat? I hope to get back to the gym tomorrow, and the water class on Saturday, but Curves is definitely out this week. DianeC.

GOAL: At least one hour at the gym 4x this week. Day 4: I was there 2.5 hours again and I busted my shrinking behind! I did all my cardio (treadmill, UBE, stepper, bike) plus ab board, medicine ball situps, weight stick squats, exercise ball ab workout, free arm weights, leg extension and curl machines and I think that is it. I am wiped out, but that's a good thing! Christine
