SHARP PAIN

For the last two days i have been having a very sharp pain in my stomach whenever i swallow anything no matter what it is liguids and all. I am already on prilosec prescrition and that is not halping i called the doctor he says to start taking two a day for a week and see if it helps. Anyone having or have had this problem? I cant believe he isnt going to scope me or something to make sur everthing is ok maybe i am overreacting but i havent lost a pd in well over 6 weeks and noe this what if someting is wrong down there. Any suggestions?

I do not have rny and don't know the answer to your question, but please call your doc about this. An acquaintance of mine several years post-op with rny started having stomach pains that required emergency surgery as the intestines became tangeled. Supposedly this problem was related to the rny surgery in some way. Don't wait on pains of this type, they could be nothing or could be serious. Good luck.
