I have hit so Many Goals

Well I am now down 100 lbs, which was my first big goal, and wanted to share with all my Surgery Sisters. I have such great news though. I went to my six month appointment and the Surgeon said that I am doing so great and I am healthy and my blood work came back all normal that he is clearing me to start fertility treatments much earlier then expected. This was one of the main reasons for me having this surgery. We have been trying to have a child for 9 years and no one would help because of my weight and the diabetes. I cried the whole way home from his office. Now I just need to contact my Primary Care Doctor to get my refferals for a Fertility Specialist and maybe finally someone will help. Jennie

Pls keep us posted. We have done our journey of IF treatments and failed at IVF already. We adopted our son over 4 yrs ago. But we wont get clearance to try again until one yr. We will have dh retested and go from there. I think my issures from IF are solved/minimal now that I have lost weight but not sure on dh end. I pray that you will find the answers to your prayers. Its an intresting journey.
