Poll Question
I have not visited OH for several months and I am curious how everyone is doing. How much have you lost? I have lost 90 pounds....have hit a plateau....and am starting plateau buster in the morning....anyone had any luck with pleateau buster diet? I just need a boost....also need to exercise...but....don't seem to do very much of that. Hello to all my Nov. buddies and glad to be back in touch with you.
I have lost 124 lbs. (started quite high) but have now slowed down. I'm not at a stall or plateau yet but wouldn't be surprised if that starts soon. I was told to expect a slow down about now by my surgeon. But I'm also finding it more difficult to be motivated to exercise--especially weight training. I'm not one of those who learns to love exercise; I do it out of duty. But in summer it is so hot that the last thing I want to do is go get sweaty!
I'm still doing well with the eating, no hunger yet, but I still do better on workdays than the weekends. I try to stay busy but that can throw off my eating schedule. I need to find some more portable foods to take with me on my errands/play time.
Good luck with breaking the plateau.

I am 2 lbs away from losing 100 lbs. I am so excited about that. I have not done the plateau buster diet, but when I do get in a stall I just increase my water and protien.
as far a excercizeing I ride bike or go for a walk usually everynight. I alternate things. one night ride bike the next walk. That seems to be working for me. On my walks I'm gonna have to quit taking my dog , because I can go farther than he can now. He's just a little chihuahua so his little legs can go just so far and he is pooped out. lol.

I am down 71 lbs. I am feeling great and enjoying life. I workout 3-5 times a week these days. I haven't tried the plateu buster diet, but I do stall a couple of weeks and then lose a few lbs. I am happy with my slow rate, because it is giving my skin time to snap back. I hope it continues to work that way. Only 48 lbs to my ulimate goal! Good luck to you!

I'm down 86 lbs. I haven't done plateau buster, but anytime I stall for more than a week, I increase my protein by 15-20g/day and drink as much water as I can. The last time I did that, I lost 5 lbs. in 6 days.
Exercise is a key to success. I really do enjoy it now that I can move easier. My biggest problem right now is with the heat and dehydration (did I say it's hot here?!?), so I'm only exercising inside at the gym.
Blessings,
Jennifer

I have lost 100lbs. I have had many stalls along the way, I have not tried the plateu buster diet thought. I figured they just happen and I keep up my water, protein and exercise. I find since I track my weight each week it usually happens around my mentrual cycle so I have come to expect it and don't worry about it at all.
