Working on 7 months

I had a friend who had the surgery 2 months before me. She told me that she was told that the weight loss slows around the 5 and 6 month but will start back up again around the 7 or 8 month. Has anyone else heard of this? I was just curious since we were working on our 7th month. I have been at a slow weight loss for my 5 and 6 month. I hope that it will pick back up around the 7th month. She told me that she is losing about 4 pounds a week now. She is working on her 9th month now. Please let me know what you guys think. Stephanie; I haven't heard that, but it would be nice. It may just be that she's changed up something in her routine and that's why she's seen a nice increase in weight loss in months 7 and 8. A few weeks ago, I increased my protein to break a stall and dropped 5 lbs. in a week, so it's still entirely possible. Blessings, Jennifer 253 / 172 / 137

No she was told this by the Surgical Weight Loss Team Education/Nurse Coordinator. I guess maybe some doctors are different. My friend is not even getting in all her protein nor is she eating enough. I don't know, but I hope that it is true

I havent heard that but I do know that is what is going on with me. My weight was at a plateau for about 1.5 months and I just have my gallbladder removed last week adn my body is acting like it was jump started I am losing again. Amy 304/220/185

Hi Stephanie I am experiencing this as well I slowed for about a monthand a hlf and all of a sudden 4lbs in one week thank goodness I guess our bodies just neede time to recoup Vivienne 335/228/170? I am 5' 11
