Topic: RE: I ate an entire Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza!
Don't feel bad. I have eaten and entire personal pizza myself. I can't do it all the time, I think it depends on how hungry I am, what else I have eaten and if I have anything to drink. I think it's normal. It's part of choosing wisely. I know I am getting to that stage. I mean I am still SLOWLY losing weight, and I mean SLOWLY. LOL Although I have been told to not lose anymore because I look like a concentration camp victim......Never though I would hear that one! Anyways, don't beat yourself up over it. I think it's normal. I ALMOST feel like I can eat pretty normally now.

Topic: I ate an entire Pizza Hut Personal Pan Pizza!
I can not believe it! It was fresh and hot (Supreme (meat, veggies, cheese), I only planned to eat half. It tasted so good that I could not help myself! I do not any feel sick. I know that they say our egg sized pouch will stretch to a tennis ball. But....mine has to be softball sized for that pizza to fit! Do you think that I have stretched/damaged my pouch?
My weight loss has really slowed down, which I am sure that it is due to my intake and lack of exercise. What should I do???? I am so down on myself.

Topic: RE: How much have you lost??
Hello,
I have not posted in a while, but I thought I would post on this topic. I had my surgery on 11-29-04 and my weight loss has slowed down tremendously the last two months. I started out at 345 and I currently weigh around 235 pounds. I have loss 110 pounds and I would like to lose another 90 pounds. I exercise six days a week and I try to watch what I eat. I do not think I get enough protein in but I am trying. I use to wear a size 26/28 and now I fit in a 16 so I am happy. Hopefully the weight will start to fall off again.

To answer your question YES, I got pregnant less than 2 months after I had the VBG. I had no problems having him and he was fine. I was told at one time I would not have kids. Well I now have 3 little ones. I must tell you, I had staple line break down I had put back on all the weight I had lost and just had a revision to the RNY,You are welcome to email me if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help!! I had an open VBG on 7/14/03. My start weight was 243. Well I got pregnant in Sept and found out in Nov. At my first OB visit 11/25/03 my weight was 166 and now at 21 weeks pregnant I weigh 169lbs. So far everything is going fine with my pregnancy and the baby seems to growing at a normal weight.

Hi there! I had open VBG surgery 3/18/03 and found out at 6 months post-op that I was pregnant. I have not really gained any weight thus far (24 weeks today). My weight goes back and forth with a 2-3 pound difference. From the u/s's I have had-our little boy looks GREAT and has no problems at all. Good luck with your pregnancy!!!

Hi, I found out shortly after my open RNY, that I was actually 6 weeks pregnant at the time of surgery. I met will all kinds of high-risk specialists, and nutritionists, and they all told me to eat as much as I possibly could. I lost 120 pounds while I was pregnant, and continued to lose weight post partum. The baby was born full term, perfectly healthy, and she weighed 7'11. Now she is almost 2. At the time I threw my weight loss concerns out the window, and really focused on eating as much as I could to keep the baby healthy. The weight-loss came as a bonus. I am now facing a possible SLD... not sure if it is due to my cir****tances or not, but best wishes to you and your new baby!

Topic: RE: problems eating?
Hi Noel, I am the same way, from one extreme to the other. I am just learning to live with it. I know if I eat meat, I eat less....makes ya a little buggy sometimes but better than the way I was. I think most of us are like that, from reading other posts. Take care, Vicki
Topic: RE: How much have you lost??
I am so glad I stumbled on your question. Everyone's progress makes me feel ok about mine. Some have lost more, some less, but we have all lost and that is the most important thing. I started at 321 pre-op. I weighed in at 202 this morning. Down 119#'s since surgery. I have been at this weight for about 2 months, can't seem to get moving again. As long as it doesn't move up, I am happy. I know it will get started again when my body is ready. You have dodne great Carrie, we all have, pats on the back to us all. Hugs, Vicki
