I would do the following: 1) make a separate box with a hammer, nails, glue gun, picture hangers, etc. in one box along with one set of linens for each bed you're moving. 2) while movers do have a numbering system they don't care what is in the box, so I'd make a list of the boxes with the main items in each box. 3) if you are storing things instead of taking to temporary housing I'd separate those boxes some way to store. 4) make sure your stuff is insured adequately. When we moved from Texas to Minnesota, a recliner never did turn up but it was covered by insurance so we got the money to get another one. 5) remember to send your change of address cards out for your subscriptions, etc. 6) If you can get your medical and dental records ahead of time. 7) And make sure you have any prescriptions to last you until you get there. I'm sure there are many more things but I can't think of any more at this time. Good luck with the move. I've just learned that I am going to be facing the same situation. Hi! Nice to meet you, I don't remember seeing you on here before? I was suppose to have my surgery on 11.15.04, but the insurance company stalled, and I ended up going in on 11.29.04!!!! I am 117# down since I started this journey!! I started out in 22/24 and am now in 10's also YOOHOO!!! I went from 279 to 162. I'm also very proud of myself, the weight loss has slowed to a crawl. I wouldn't mind losing another 10lbs, BUT if I don't, I like to say I'm happy as a clam right where I am!!! If I could just get plastics, life would be grand...but that scares the bajeebies out of me LOL I do try religously to take my vitamins...when I miss, I get migrains..something I have always fought with. Now lately I have been doing terrible with my water intake, and I still work on protein...I eat alot of homemade jerky, which is high in protein, and gives me that snacking sensation. Heres to keeping those old demons at bay! I read your profile, I wish you the best at getting pregnant and having a beautiful baby!!! Hugs, Debi

I just wanted to thank you for being so honest about your eating habits and what was going on. It really made me take a good look at what I was doing and realized I was eating some things that I really shouldn't have either! I have been complaining because I am not loosing weight as much as I was in the earlier months, but I also have not been as determined as I was then! I am now in a 8 and 10 jeans and I am happy as can be. I weight 30 pounds less than I did when I got married and about 5 pounds from highschool weight. I feel like I have made it, but still would like to loose more! Anyway thanks for helping me to get back on track too!! Protein drinks, water, vitamins, meat and veggies. That is all I will be putting in my mouth for quite some time!!! Sounds like you are doing great with the weight loss!! Congrats!! and Keep up the great work!!!!

Lets see... 1. What complications have you experienced as a result of surgery? No one recognizes me 2. How much weight have you lost total (from your highest weight)? 138lbs from my highest and 103lbs since surgery 3. What percentage of your total weight to lose have you lost - (total weight loss/ total weight to lose x 100).... You can check the weight loss planner if you are unsure of how much you should weigh for your height. 79% 4. What has been your biggest loss (other than lbs) since surgery? Money...have to keep buying new clothes 5. What has been your proudest achievement (other than lbs lost) since surgery? Just walked a 5K for breast cancer and didn't hardly break a sweat 6. What is next goal (other than lbs)??? To keep up the exercise and try to firm my body up as much as possible

Topic: What's up?!?!?
Hi everyone! Can you believe we're almost to our one yar mark? Time flies...but what a struggle getting here! I still have days where I can't eat...nothing will go down. Other days, I wonder if I'm eating too much. I've gone from a size 32 to a 10...309 pounds to 168. Very proud of myself, but disappointed at the same time. I don't follow doctor's orders at all. I don't worry about protein or vitamins...one day I'll probably find myself in trouble when it all catches up to me. Just wondering how everyone else is doing and feeling?? Keep up the good work!!!
