Joann, I know exactly how you feel. I just finished posting on my profile after several months of hiding. I'm able to eat too much and I do eat too much. Some sugars don't bother me so I find myself eating those. I get my mind right and then whammo, I'm right back at it. I've lost a little over 100# since my surgery on 11/3/04. I am grateful for those lost pounds but I still have about 70 to go. I'm so depressed about it. I even told my husband tonight that I am thinking about asking my surgeon to do the surgery again to make my pouch smaller again. He'll probably think I'm a loser (and not the good kind of loser either). I guess we just have get things right in our minds and get to work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers for both of us. Shelia

I finally got around to updating my profile, last entry was from July..ooops! And I put some new pictures up as well. Last year my best friend and I decide my one year anniversary "gift" to myself would be a cruise. So Nov 26- Dec 3 we went on a 7 day Caribbean cruise to Cayman Island, Cozumel Mexico, and Key West. We had a great time, I even used the boat gym 4 time out of 7 days. I ate alots of food, mostly good....tested a few boundaries, but I hit my all time low of 152 onboard. I am at my goal weight. I float btween 154-156. Less than 158 is a normal BMI for me. I do not want to lose any more, I know plastics will take 5-10 more pounds off. Total loss of 170 lbs and 100+ inches and my boobs..ugh. I can wear size 10 jeans! And Medium scrub shirts and Medium stretch pants, but my wallet says I have to wear the larges awhile longer. I will be starting to make appointments for plastic consults next week, I want it all....sigh. I hope everyone is doing well. Michelle 324/155/155 @ goal!

Topic: RE: Extreme Gas
Lizzi- We are anniversary buddies! Yay! Yes, I too have had a great deal of gas lately. Yuck! My family wants to keep me outside for a while now! It all depends on what I eat. My family has decided beans of ANY kind are off limits for now. I'm elated to share I have lost 173 pounds from my highest weight! Let's hear it for BLESSINGS! When the "emissions" become too much to handle I switch back to a more bland style of eating until the situation clarifies itself. May your transition be smooth. Dawn 410/380/237/149ish P.S. Your pictures are beautiful my dear! Way to Go!!!!!!!!!

Topic: Extreme Gas
Hi All, I had my surgery 9-4-04. I am down almost -100lbs and feeling fairly good most of the time. Lately I am having what I call EXTREME GAS. I seem to be able to pass gas at an alarming rate and length of time. I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem? Thanks for any advise, Lizzi

Thank you very much for replying so quickly. I really appreciate you taking the time out to answer my questions. I just called my insurance and they said that they do not pay for it. So i'm definitely on my own with it. Thanks again. ~Angel 255/222/130/120

No it wasn't covered - I knew it wouldn't be... it was a total of $12,500 for Tummy tuck, flank plasty, breast lift and breast implants - which was a good price - I had seen several doctors and not only was I comfortable with him but it price was good. It was painful and still is a bit - I went back to work 10 days after - only because I had to - but I do recommend alot of rest... There is also financing available... If you have anymore questions - ask - no problem Sonya Galindo

Hi Sonya, Congrats on all your success. I have a question. Did you insurance cover the plastics or are you self paying? If you are paying how much was it if I may ask? I want to get it done but I don't have the money and i'm afraid that insurance isn't going to cover it. ~Angel 255/222/130/120
