Consider it done. I'll pray for your dad and for all your family and especially you. Miracles happen. My brother Ronald, (a twin) had stomach cancer about the same time of my WLS and I felt really silly doing the surgery when he was struggling with cancer. Anyway, he went to the doctor, had surgery and got some sort of cancer shots (not chemo) and after three or four shots he went for his check up and they found no sign of it. I think the shots are about $1,500 each. Keep your chin up.

Topic: EMOTIONAL SHOPPING TRIP
I went to Dillards today to buy something to wear and got all emotional. I had to ask for a tissue to wipe my eyes because I was wandering all over the different ladies departments looking for something to wear and not knowing where to go. 
It hit me between the eyes that I kept going to the plus sizes because I have for years. But I don't wear those sizes anymore. So I felt like a stranger to smaller sizes and didn't feel comfortable. I wound up finding some slacks in a size 14 (used to wear 22's) and I put them on a rack by a register and left the store. I'll go back again and see if I can purchase them another time. This was weird.

whenever I have days that I feel like I'm always hungry, it's usually because I've slacked on my fluids. But that's just me.

For me, sometimes I can eat a whole heck of a lot, other times I can't. Yesterday I was feeling very disappointed in myself because I ate 2 pieces of pizza. I didn't eat the crust though. It was a poor choice I know, and I really felt bad. But today is a new day! But then today I was very full after only a little bit of food. I think it depends on how much I have had to drink that day and how dense the food is....

It's Molly again. I thought I might clarify a couple of things for you about our organization. We inform and education patients, doctors and advocates about prostate cancer and all the treatments that are available to them. Many patients and doctors only know about surgery and radiation, but there are others. We have a quarterly newsletter that we send out and we have contact with some of the best doctors around the country that write for us and help us advise our members. I had Lap RNY on 11/22/04. I started at 335 lbs at 6 feet tall. I am now under 250 for a 85 lb or so loss. I started at a solid 26/28, and now I am knocking on size 20's door! My loss has slowed too, but so has my activity! Can't wait to be under 200!! Keep up the good work....I think that we all are slowing down some!
