Congrats !!!! I am sooooo waiting to hit it too. I am also 41 and my birthday is in may. I only have 14 lbs to hit the nurses goal for may 18th. Which sill be 92 lbs lost. Then the next goal is ONDERLAND!!!! Isn,t this awesome!!!

Topic: Eating in restaurants
Please post what restaurants you have eaten in since your surgery and what you eat there?
These are the places I have eaten:
Ruby Tuesday: Once I got a cup of their broccoli cheese soup and felt fine after eating it. Another time got the salad bar and I think I ate too much or too fast and felt bloated the rest of the night.
Isaac's (local restaurant): Honey dijon grilled chicken salad - Ate about 1/4 of it and it was very good!
Red Lobster - I got snow crab legs. I could eat about one cluster and felt fine.
Wendy's - Early post op I would eat the inside of their baked potato really mashed up. Now I can eat about half of a plain jr. cheeseburger with no top bun.
Chopsticks (chinese restaurant) - Ate two bites of snow peas and shrimp and threw up!! Won't be eating chinese for a LONG times which sucks because I love it!

Hey Fellow Losers!!!I'm puttin out a shout to let ya know I'm a new member of ONE-derland!!!!! The last time I weighed less than 200"s,I was a senior in High School.I'm now 41(eeeeeck!).I'm off 6 of 7 meds,and feeling great!!!!

Way to go....we are doing about the same in losing.....I am 93 lbs down.........weight coming off slower now. I count every calorie.....I use fitday.com cd to track calories, protein and fats that I eat everyday. Sandy in Tucson

In addition there is a new product called soy chips..... come in flavors like barbeque, ranch, salt and vinegar..... look like mini rice cakes.... but have the protein of soy.... they have gotten me through some rough spots.

I love real estate Summer. You either love it or hate it. It's going great here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area too. Not like California but great. I'ts smart for you to have your license before they raise the requirements for us. Once you work for yourself, it's really hard to go back to working for a corporation. I don't think I could do it. But then I didn't think I could lose 85 pounds either. lol I have an empty nest so it's a lot easier than when she was little. Good luck and keep up the good work. PUT THE CHIPS DOWN!!! NOW!!! BACK AWAY FROM THE CHIPS! Without protein these carby snacks will just set up for more cravings...what you really want is crunchy foods! TRy Atkins crunchies or try the Flaxseed Spicy Tortilla Chips (from Trader's Joe in my area) or try Quaker Q-smart Rice cheese rice cakes all these snacks are low carb, high protein and are crunchy! I have had all of these but save them for special occasions!!

Hi November Babies!!
I am 5'5 1/2 and I started at 230 gained 10 lbs to qualify for WLS. Had surgery at a 40 BMI at 240 lbs. I am now 175lbs! I've lost 65 lbs and YES the weight loss has slowed down significantly. I wear a size 12 and will attempt a 10 soon! I take my measurements and photos every month on the 4th! I'm paying alot of attention to the measurements right now since the scale isn't moving much I just keep working out and pray I can lose 35 more lbs!!
