Congrats to you!!! When I read your post it suddenly hit me that I just reached Onederland too!! I weighed this morning and I'm down to 198. I can't remember when I was in the one hundreds. So keep up the good work and that's great about being off the meds. I wasn't on any to start with but I know it would have been just a matter of time. I'm 52 so it leaves the body a little slower but as long as it leaves. Alice From Dallas 11/10/04 285/198/?

Topic: HALLELUJAH I'M BELOW 200!!!
I weighed in this morning and I'm at 198! I can't even remember when I weighed that little before. It sure is rewarding to see the number going down. Well I just wanted to report that to my friends. You are all my friends. Even those I have never or will never meet. We know one another online and that is something irreplaceable. Thanks for reading. xoxo Alice Alice From Dallas 11/10/04 285/198/? -87 pounds 5'9"

Let's see... Taco Bell: bean burritos minus the tortilla, refried beans. I want a Fiesta Taco Salad so bad I could scream, but there isn't enough nutrition in it. I'm going to try a beef burrito pretty soon. Dairy Queen: the fried shrimp basket, husband gets fries, garbage gets the slaw, and it takes me 2 days to eat the shrimp Chinese restaurant (buffet style): sesame chicken, pepper steak, hot and sour soup, General Tso's chicken, egg rolls. I get just a piece or two of each entree, no rice, and mostly broth in the soup. Jack's: chicken fingers, small fries. For some reason I can eat Jack's fries but all the other fries are too heavy. I have to be careful to cut up everything into small bites or Pouch yells at me. Nothing real spicy either--I about died after I ate some Kung Pao chicken. Lorri

Topic: RE: ohhhh myyy goshhhhh!!! Potato Chips
One of my favorite snacks is the Walmart brand baked cheese crackers with peanut butter. The PB has the protein to buffer the crackers, and you get that lovely crunch. Another crunch food is apple chips. I've recently seen them in Walmart, and Publix sells them too. They're freeze-dried apple slices, come in a variety of flavors. I know it's mostly carbs, but it's fruit so it's better than sitting and eating crackers or cookies or something. One way you can restrict eating the "bad" stuff is don't keep it around. Get a 1 oz bag when you want some, but don't keep a bunch of them in the house. Make it so the effort involved in getting that snack is so much that it just isn't worth it. Lorri

Hi ya ladies! I know that I haven't posted in a long time! All though I do stop by and read at least once a week. Since having the surgery my life has gotten so much busier and I've even headed back to school!! But anyway, yesterday was my 5 month aniversary and i've lost 102 pounds! I'm pretty darned happy about that! I still have a long way to go but I am getting there!! Jacquie 402/300/175

We go to Mexican restaurants a lot there is one close by that is really authentic and I usually have a chicken taco(grilled chicken, chopped onions cilantro and jalpeno and tomato) minus the tortilla, or beans and cheese or a little of both and take the rest home for later. Another one, My DH ordered texas fajitas and I ate some of his chicken and shrimp and beans. At Red Lobster he ordered the ultimate feast, we used to get 2 of them, I had 3 shrimp, a bite of lobster, 3 crab legs, I ate a whole peice of bread just a pinch at a time. At wendy's it was chili. We went to captain D's the other day and I ordered the broiled fish and chicken lunch, it was good but I ate it for 3 meals, I ordered a baked potato instead of rice. It is so much fun to go out to eat now we usually get 1 plate and I just eat a little of his. And we save money!
