Oh, Alice... doesn't it feel great?! Congratulations! I know that it's kind of like overcoming this huge obstacle to break the 200 barrier and get into the 100's! I'm SO excited for you!
Blessings to you as you continue your WLS journey, and enjoy the ride, sister!!!

Topic: I broke the barrier today!!! Am celebrating!
Hi, fellow November WLSers... today I finally broke the 200 barrier, and weighed in at 198! I was stuck there for a few weeks, and you know how your mind works... well, mine kept telling me that "this is it, you've lost all you're gonna lose... you won't ever get below 200."
So, I'm SO happy... it has been over 5 years since I saw this side of the barrier, and even then, it was a short-lived victory. Maybe this time... if I stick to the program and use my WLS tool I can live the rest of my life on the better side of 200!
Thanks for reading, and supporting me along the way... you all are great!

I would be really happy also!! Who would have ever thought that you could lose 102 lbs in 5 months. I mean anytime I sit and think about how fast we are all losing weight..I just can't believe it!
Keep up the great work!!!

Topic: RE: Eating in restaurants
Hi,
I don't eat out much, but when I do I try to go to Dietfacts.com first before I go. That way I can see what on their menu is within my personal limits. Or a lot of places actually have their own site where you can see the nutritional information. I perfer those ways a million to one over asking for it in person.
I love seeing on here what people eat and where. And I am glad I am not the only one that can't do chinese...and man do I miss it too!!

Howdy neighbor!
I've eaten at Isaac's and really like their vegitarian black bean burger with mustard. I skip the roll and fill up on the awesome pickles instead. There is another member of my support group that meets me there for lunch once in a while and we split the chicken salad and each get a cup of soup.
I ate at Smokey Bones in York today. Had the Lodge Salad (about 1/3 of it) and tasted some of my hubbies beef brisket (about 3 bites).
I love to eat breakfast food too. We either go to the Starlight Diner in York or the Lyndon Diner in Lancaster and I get an egg beater omelette with american cheese, mushrooms and onions. I eat half, and take the other half home for another meal. I skip the fried potatoes, but usually eat a half of a slice of rye toast.
Panera Bread has a great low fat chicken noodle soup too!
I have Panera and Isaac's close to where I work so if I am not prepared with my usual nutritious packed lunch, I'll pick a cup of soup up while I'm out on sales appointments. On days that I do this, I make sure I eat an EAS low carb protien bar in the afternoon to make sure I'm getting my protien.
Who did your surgery? I had mine at Heart of Lancaster with Dr. Klein.
So far so good, no regrets.
Take care,
Annie

Oh another place I have eaten is Arby's.
I got their Market Fresh Turkey, Ranch and Bacon Sandwich. I ate about half (no bread). It was so yummy!
